Is it hard to be friends with someone who makes more than you?
I am middle aged, long married woman and am at the verge of becoming friends with someone new; you know that awkward point where neither of you wants to admit you are more than business or personal acquaintances. This person mentioned something about not wanting to be friends with their daughter's parent's friends because they made more than them. Do you think most people feel this way?
We make more than all our friends so I can't really judge. I try not to flaunt it although most of my close friends know how much I make and don't seem to mind.

Hi NO WAY why would it or should I say worry whomever coz if that stops u from becoming friends coz that particular person or persons earn more, how on earth should that deter whomever.
Same as if u earn more than whomever if u connect on a social level or personal then so be it if u don't flaunt ur wealth it shouldn't affect a relationship on any level after all it's ur personality/looks mannerisms that attracts others don't u think? Cheers ♥

it doesnt mean anything.
Money has no owners... only spenders.
That is a shallow thing to base a friendship on - as if money made people better.
