I am middle aged and new to texting. I notice that my male friends and dates text me back less than I text them. Should I wait for equal reciprocation? If they are not texting back as much, does that mean I am annoying them?

I think it is but my friend says no. I know this is a matter of opinion. What do you think?

I am middle aged, long married woman and am at the verge of becoming friends with someone new; you know that awkward point where neither of you wants to admit you are more than business or personal acquaintances. This person mentioned something about not wanting to be friends with their daughter's parent's friends because they made more than them. Do you think most people feel this way?

We make more than all our friends so I can't really judge. I try not to flaunt it although most of my close friends know how much I make and don't seem to mind.

My husband honestly told me that he wants me to work as hard as I can to look as pretty as I can so that other people will think "Wow he has a pretty wife". I am guessing that if I told a woman that they would say he was a pig and that he should be happy with my personality and other things I bring to the relationship but men would say they feel the same.

I have always been a very slow runner even when in shape and young. I have a small heart murmer and am very stocky, but am not sure that is why I run so slow. Right now I am just starting running again and don't remember how fast I ran in college and can only run about 4 miles per hour (don't laugh). What is a realistic goal for a one hour run for my age and sex?
