Is it bad to text someone more times than they text you?

Sounds like you are texting too much. Gals do it more often. For a guy it's just a short message. They are not into texting everyday stuff and having "conversations". If I were a guy I would find it very annoying and would feel trapped and overwhelmed.

Women are very emotional about keeping in contact. Most guys don't care for it. So I'd back off a little if I were you. You don't want to scare them away.

Actually when I am out and about I have NEVER seen a guy text anything. Yet women clog up the aisles in grocery stores-off in their own little world - texting away.

It's fine to over text your gal pals. Don;t over-text guys or you won;t see them again. Good luck.

It really depends on who and what you are texting about. If your texting every few minutes, yea that is too much. If you are texting occasionally and they aren't texting back right away, they may just be busy and will text back eventually. Men do have a tendency to not text as often as women, and mare sometimes really short in their messages. If you feel like you are annoying them, simply text something like "you seem busy, ill let you go and text me when you get a chance." Puts the ball in their court. If they aren't busy and want to talk to you, they will tell you and continue texting. If they are busy, they will appreciate your understanding and will text you when they have the chance. Don't over-analyze things though, men aren't as chatty as women most of the time, but that doesn't mean you are annoying or they don't want to talk to you. Hope this helps :)

I'm a boomer. If you're sending me "information" I might send you a TY. If its "chit-chat" its mildly annoying unless its like every 3 minutes, like a constant commentary on your life. Get a twitter account so following your life is a voluntary thing ;). I just don't feel the need to answer every text I get that is not a direct request for information or that requires a response.

I've got things that are much more important (like I still work for a living) than answering every tesxt I get.

It just means that its more important to the one person.

The "not so much" texter doesnt think very much of the other one. Otherwise they would be texting back like white lightning.
