High Tension - because the French can get away with a million times more violence than we can

Audition - lots of build-up, but still pretty good (Asian horror movies tend to avoid gore)

there is a lot of horror movies. In hollywood just see the film '1408', it will entertain you sure. Or watch 'exorcist' the scariest movie ever. The shining, a mityville horror etc.. Are also good. In hindi watch 'raaz the mystery continues'. '13B'.

'Darna mana hei'. 'Bhoot'. In malayalam 'akasha gamga'. 'veendum lissa'. 'summer palace' like old movies. Dont watch latest malayalam horror films, it will make u laugh.
