pressure swithch on a car?
ok so i got my pressure switch fixed on my car it was my oil pressure that was broken. my question is how can an oil pressure switch break anyway. and also once its fixed does it still noramlly leak for a few minutes. and then stop.

It sounds like they didnt put it in right or seal the threads, and no it should never leak.something had to hit it to break it

If it was just a little wet after instalation and went away it was probably just residual oil from the replacement. If it continues to leak I'd suspect a loose fitting or possible the wrong threads if they got the wrong part.
Things get old and wear out, thats life. It happens to everything eventually.
