Does cervical spondylosis cause palpitation?

How does cervical spondylosis affect heart patient? The patient is 46 years old, male. He has undergone open heart surgery a few years ago. Recently he was suffering from pain in the neck and the chests. The X-ray showed that he has cervical spondylosis (C 5-6). But he also suffers from rapid breathing and palpitation even when walking up a flight of stairs (It wasn't so before). Can this be the result of the cervical spondylosis or is it due to the heart?

it doesn't sound like c5c6 involvement, kindly discuss it with your cardiologist.

Spondylosis simply means the patient has arthritic changes in the spine. I don't think it has something to do with palpitations. The heart is probably the culprit here.
