how to set up televisions without cable or satellite?

i have a new HDTV but three older sets which would probably require the converters.

i want to set up all my tvs without satellite dish or cable services so that i can get local channels

and anything else i might be able to get on these sets. looks like i need an antenna, but not sure how it would work for all the tvs or if each tv needs something special or different. help.

Update:

would like to hear how others have maximized their choices without the assistance of a company.

You need to choose an antenna depending on your location and will need a digital converter box on each tv.

The HD tv can work with just an antenna attached to it and you doing a channel scan according to the tv's owner's manual.

Older, crt tvs will require both a converter and an antenna. If you get a roof antenna, you can attach all the tvs to one antenna, but the crts will still each require the converter. If you want to use inside, small antennas, then each tv will require it's own.
