It's several shades DARKER! I asked for medium auburn brown and I got dark brown...way too dark for me. What do I do now?

the color comes out that way cause of the shade of ur natural hair mixed with the dye. always get a shade lighter than the one you want if you have medium to dark hair. but to fix it is easy wait at least two weeks and dye it again with the lighter color. so this way you wash out some of the old dye and your hair has time to recover you don't wat to damage it.

buy an undying serum like B4.. takes any unnatural dye out of your hair take it back to the original, however when i used it my hair went for being dark purple/black to darkish blonde and my natural colour was dark brown:) so i was happy it went lighter

Yeah, that happened to me. You're just going to have to go to the salon, cause when you dye your hair darker its harder to get lighter.

you have to get much lighter color to get the color you want.

I'm naturally brunette but I had to get the blondest blond I could find but its much darker blond than what it was on the box

your only choice really to just re-dye it.

The only option is to shave your head and move to Mexico.
