Where can I get Forchlorfenuron?
I am a home grower of starter plants and would like to know where I would be able to obtain a very small amount of this plant growth regulator Forchlorfenuron that was used that recently made China's watermelons explode. I know they used it wrong and I am not interested in huge rapid growth, I would be interested to see if I could obtain an upper hand on my competitor. Is there another option for this chemical that you could offer that could give me a decent result that might be easier to obtain?
Woohoo... thanks you are a wealth of info!! I will look into all of those:-)

kinetin is listed as another Cytokinins with CPPU. There are many other growth regulators mentioned. How useful it would be or how available would require more research.

Here is an option to buy CPPU but it is apparently currently allowed for grapes and kiwis, whatever that means.

I think this is closer to the source.

There is a long list of articles on plant growth regulators.

If it were me, I would look up the specific name of the fruit or veg. and then search with a particular growth hormone for specific articles. It is hard to get more than abstracts but it might give you an idea.
