Dogs, Honey, and Allergies?

I read an article about people using local honey to fight seasonal allergies by slowly building up their tolerance over time. Could the same thing work for dogs? I have read honey can be fed to adult dogs in small doses. Anyone had experience with this?

It has and can be done. I've done it with my boy, but have only had marginal results because of how severe his allergies are. You also have to get as pure a honey as you can, and depending on how varied the "pollens" in the honey...you may need to really look around.
