Roof leak on a 1970's era Holiday Travel Trailer plz read details?
It's leaking all over the place when it rains. And we cannot afford a professional roofer. They keep telling us we need to replace the whole roof. A neighbor had her roof fixed for a cheap price. But looking at it, it looks like they just put metal sheeting on the top of it and somewhat looks like it was put on in pieces. Can we put aluminum sheeting on the 5th wheel stationary rv trailer? Either that or we move.
We used cool sealant more than 2 times and it still leaks.

We used to coat the metal top of our trailer with trailer top coating you buy at your local Home Depot or Lowes store. It's very easy to apply and will seal the leaks for a few years.

you know that rubber cement people use on their house roofs? get some of that and a brush. if there,s any small holes it will seal them up. once it dries then no water can pass it up.
