When my computer is in sleep mode, can I get a virus, trojan horse, spyware ---ANY malware ?

    no, your hard drive is off along with most of the system.

    It is not possible.

    The only way would be for the hacker to send a wake command to your modem or network card.

    If you have wake on lan disabled it is totally not possible .

    Look up how sleep works. In sleep the hard disk is not active nor is the cpu. You can not execute code in sleep mode. A hacker would need to send a wake command to the computer to get the system out of sleep to run commands.

    No, This Is Incorrect.

    The system is on Sleep, Not Off.

    Windows is running and hackers can send a Virus through the internet and to your PC.

    So it is best to keep your PC Off or at least turn of your Wireless Adapter.

    yes hdd is off,but BIOS still on.

    maybe it can affect BIOS
