1 AnswerNon-Alcoholic Drinks10 years agoWhen my browser gets text, it is tiny.?
I know I can make it larger with ctrl-plus sign or alt-mouse scroll key. But why's it's happening? How to stop that? It happens MOST of the time...not always. I'm using Vista 64bit/sp2 on HP computer.
If you know how to resolve, give me step-by-step please.

1 AnswerOther - Internet1 decade agoComputer Sleep Mode.?
At nightime Instead of shutoff, I put the computer to sleep.
1) but always!, at 3am, it wakes and then about 10 minutes later it goes back to sleep....on it's own.
Why is this happening? There's not a disk in tray - I haven't made any changes anywhere.
2) And when the computer is in the Sleep Mode, can hackers, viruses, trojans (or anything) get
access to it?
p.s.: when I wake the computer in the morning, everything is still there where I left off - and I can continue doing what I was at whether surfing, programming, or whatever. The 3:00 thing hasn't hurt anything.
I'm running Vista 64bit, sp2 - HP desktop 4 core, DSL.
Oh!, Don't blame it on Vista, I've been using it for years, working very good.

2 AnswersInjuries1 decade agoSpider - was crawling on the floor! I haven't done any traveling. So no luggage. No gifts, no visitors coats.?
1) I killed one in a room. Is there another one in the room? I'm thinking they live in pairs.
.
2) The room is kept clean, no crackers crumbs or any food stuff laying around.
.
3) Is there a poison dust, poison liquid, poison paste, or something that would attract
and kill them?
.
4) I run a humidifier in the room for several hours each day - this has to be done for
medical reasons during winter months. It is not excessively humid. But that might
make it "comfortable" for spiders?----- but a dry OR humid atmosphere probably
doesn't matter to a spider - right?
.
Thanks. ps: it was small, ½ of a pea size and black. Scared the willies out of me!
4 AnswersCleaning & Laundry1 decade agoLime in water - I'm running a humidifier in a bedroom Our tap water doesn't run through a water softener.?
So there's a lime coating that's building-up on the mechanism. I use filtered water from our Brita, but the filters are $$ expensive. Brita Inc. says they filter-out lime. ??-

2) the water that you buy in gallon jugs at the grocery store?
3) the water that is collected when we have to run run a dehumidifier in basement?
