If you wanted to and knew what you were doing, you could get all of their browsing history (includes Gmail passwords, credit card numbers and other things)
Use your own internet connection.

It's like using a service which is not free and you use it for free when someone else is paying for it and doesn't know that you're using it, it's sort of stealing, he's paying for the internet connection and you're using it without his/her permission.

Because your not paying for it, and it's a violation of privacy.
It's not considered illegal if you specifically ask them if you can.

It's illegal i think.
BUT IT'S NOT TO ME WHEN I USE MY NEIGHBOR'S WIFI. THEIR PASSWORD IS STUPID! THE PASSWORD IS THE NAME OF THE WIFI!
