In the equation X=YZ How do you solve for X?

It is a college course that requires to know how to solve this in order to further complete the equation unfortunately I have been doing difficult math for so long I for some reason for the life of me can not solve this.

Update:

This is not solved. Allow me to input the exact text I am reading plus my Professors words were this is a incomplete problem.

1.Identify the units on x in each of the following equations

(a) x=yz (both y and z are measured in feet)

    Understood the question now.

As I said, the equation is already solved for X, what you are supposed to find out is the units of X.

In this case the units of X would be square feet.

    Explanation:

Y and Z are both feet. You multiply Y by Z to get X so X is feet * feet which is square feet.

If you need help with the other questions just update the additional details or E-Mail me..

X = YZ fairly a lot, you want to get the variable you're fixing for on its own. in case you want to resolve for Y, divide each area by Z. X/Z = YZ/Z X/Z = Y in case you want to resolve for Z, divide each area by Y. X/Y = YZ/Y X/Y = Z
