Did anybody out there give up Internet Explorer for Google Chrome?
If so, do you like it? Would you recommend it? Would you go back to IE? What is the process for switching?

Yep, I have gave up IE long and used to use Firefox but now using Google Chrome because it is very fast than IE and firefox. Never go back to IE or firefox. If you want to change just install and use Google chrome. Just leave IE as it is.

IE uses trident layout engine whereas Chrome uses Webkit.Webkit is more efficient that trident. So Google chrome is very fast.also the download speed is high here due to the awesome layout engine. But if you want many tools with your browser Mozilla Firefox is best.IE 9 also will rock in some days .

I've always like Google Chrome better than Internet Explorer because its so faster. You switch tabs faster, search things faster on Google faster, in such a easy way. It never froze for me and downloads are a breeze. I have recently switched to Mozilla FireFox because I find out they have new web apps. (Such as download helper, a program which lets you download any video or MP3 you see.) FireFox is also fast too, as I've been using it for years. Hope this helps!

Who the hell still uses IE? Pick up the latest Firefox 4 or Google Chrome.
Microsoft never fix anything.

I would rather go for Firefox rather than Google Chrome. Just download and install the browser of your choice. You can find Firefox at http://www.mozilla.com/
