Question about NCIS LA ...?
I just started watching and I am completely baffled by the building they are in. What is that? The office looks like a palace, but there are people milling about in the background. Then the interrogation room looks like a boathouse basement. Can someone please enlighten me? Thanks!

The Office of Special Projects is supposed to be a hush-hush operation, so they work pretty hard at not being noticed. For that reason, their main building is an old (but classy) hacienda-style house and their safehouse/interrogation room IS a boathouse.

Why is the Nell Jones character so overdressed for LA? I understand work clothes, but she looks like she s eternally covered in button-to-the-neck dresses, sweaters and leggings -- far too warm for the location. Is she emulating Henrietta Lang?
