Could I remove my credit card details from Xbox Live by doing this?
By changing the expiration date of the credit card on Xbox.com to the 26th (Tomorrow) rather than when it is supposed to expire?
I tried that and it wont let me it asks me to ring customer service and I've read about a bunch of people who have rang and it takes like 3 months or more and sometimes it never even happens.
And no I'm from AUS why?

No, you can't do it that way. If you change your credit card details to something that is inaccurate it will simply fail authentication and revert back to what you already have in there.
If you are trying to cancel auto-renew, you HAVE to call Customer Support. That is the ONLY way to cancel auto-renew. I don't know why folks say it's so hard... it's not. They will take care of it for you.
If you simply want to change the credit card that is being used, add the new one first, then transfer any balances due (sounds like you don't have any, tho) and make that card the active one. After that, you can delete the old card.

NO don't do that because what IF Xbox LIVE receives your payment? If you have $0 on your credit card, is going to get worst. The best smart way to do is go to Xbox.com & sign-in. Go to billing settings & delete your credit card account number. If you do not have a profile account on Xbox.com, what are you waiting for sign up & do of what I advice you to do. Take care.
