My friend's account has been deleted?
by someone who knew her password or a hacker. She's not sure. How can she go about finding out 'where' the deletion took place? Or can she trace the source? (the where and who?) Is it traceable at all, or only if it is done in a private home. What if it is done in a public place? Not traceable then? I've heard that one has 90 days to retrieve the account: is that true?

If you know someone at Yahoo! I think they can trace the deletion. The account may be there somewhere and hidden.
It could have been deleted for non-use. Some accounts have to be signed onto and used every six months or so, in some cases 90 days.
