Who was this president?

A challenge I gave to my students. I'd like for you to mention how many of the facts in the clues you had to look up. Best of luck!

Who was the nth president of the United States, where n is the age at which JFK was elected minus the year in the 1900s when the First New Deal was passed?

JFK was 43 years old when elected president.

The first New Deal provisions were passed in 1933.

The tenth president was John Tyler.

The last fact I looked up, I would have guessed that Martin van Buren was #10, but he was #8.

    On edit: I'm not American...

John Kennedy became the youngest elected President by winning the office while he was just 43. The first New Deal legislation was adopted in March 1933, almost as soon as Franklin Roosevelt was inaugurated as President.

From these data, I see that you want me to identify the tenth President:

    1. Washington

    2. Adams

    3. Jefferson

    4. Madison

    5. Monroe

    6. Quincy Adams

    7. Jackson

    8. van Buren

    9. Harrison

    10, John Tykler

[I double-checked my answer by going on the Web. Otherwise I knew all of the material, including the sequence of the Presidents from memory. I feel that anyone who claims to be an American should know this material. .

John Hanson, so John Adams would be the 9th

Edit, I swear I have dyslexia, I could have sworn the question read "who was the first president"
