How do i connect my virtual server 2003 to my virtual Xp Client over LAN.?

im gonna go mad if i cant sort this out. I wanted to connect my virtual server to my computer and i cant. the ip for my server is 192.168.1.2, for my client its 192.168.1.3 My domain name is Cambride.com, i right click my computer in my client computer - properties - computer name - change - member of - Cambride.com . It says both are connected to local network ....... am i missing something? it wont connect.

The virtual server and client are not connected to the internet. I want to connect my client to the server over LAN and add the client to the Cambride.com domain i created on server

Oh BTW the Xp is a also a virtual pc = )

    Just open your browser on the client and type the server IP into the address bar, hit enter and that's it.
