PSP save data playable?

I got a little big planet psp save data. Is it possible to play it without the umd? If not, then why would the psp keep the save datas in the game section?

No, because the save data is just data that tells the game when it was saved and with what information. The reason the PSP keeps the save data in the game section is for when you load the game, it reads the save game data and loads it up from that point.

they kept that save data so you can play again your previous save, without it you can't finish your tiny huge planet game....... :)
