When reading Acts 3:1-10, what questions come to mind?

I don't have a question but I do have a statement. although the crippled man was asking for money, the Apostles gave him more, the ability to walk & give a witness to others who knew him & did not know him that he was healed by the power that was bestowed to Peter & John to show that the Kingdom of God will do this & more in Gods' appointed time. What mercy & love!

    I didn't questions. I got this understanding:

Most people know how to walk; they just need to know how to hold God’s hand. This guy was looking for money. Looking for a hand out. He wasn't looking for healing; he was looking for a hand out. He wasn't looking for strength, he was looking for money. We should not look for handouts we should look for healing.

When we are focused on what others can do for us, we will miss what God can do for us. When God touches us life changes. Miracles happen when we allow His name to be infused with our name

Infusing Jesus’ name into your own will never disappoint you.

When we awake every morning we should spend at least ten minutes with the Lord in devotion Speaking God’s promises instead of your doubts. Once we get our eyes off ourselves and look to Jesus, He will take care of all whats, hows, when and the where in our life.

No questions, just an analogy of salvation. Peter told him to 'fix' his eyes upon them, just as all are advised to fix our spiritual eyes upon the Lord Jesus Christ. The same lesson was taught many times by our Lord during His Earthly ministry.

For WTP above, I have a 'whole' brain so its no problem at all to believe.

I sometimes wonder what happened to the people Jesus healed -- how their life changed after their miracle healing. When the blind see, the lame walk, the dead are raised --- it's a big change in a person's life. Now they could walk, work, live a normal life.

Me personally? how can people possibly read this stuff and not be able to differentiate it from non fiction. One might as well worship Louis Carrol for his creation of Alice, magical goddess figure.

For one, if this lame beggar and Pete existed, how did Pete heal him?

And why can't anyone heal amputees?
