htc or blackberry? if htc which one?

HTC is best Android Phone.

HTC is better by far, Blackberry is really lagging behind in technology lately.

The Desire S and the Incredible S are basically the same phone with a different name. They both have Snapdragon processors, etc. So just pick the one that you like, or the one that is cheapest.

I've had a Blackerry, HTC Desire Z and an iPhone 4 and they're all good in their own way!

It really depends on what you want the phone for, how does it suit your needs? Do you need quick access to all your email accounts, have lots of studying/meetings/events that you need to organise? Like a fairly no-frills approach to technology (yet still powerful) then go for the Blackberry.

If you're not so bothered about the above and are more interested in the gadgety, cool apps then definitely go for HTC Desire S. Apps are on a par with iPhone and the phone itself is great. There's not a lot you can't do with it! (email/calender nowhere near as good as BB though! Major downfall if you're looking for that)

HTC Desire

The original desire is still an excellent phone and there are a lot of custom ROMs and an easy rooting process in case you want to mess about with it (I use CyanogenMod because HTC sense, although good looking, is too heavy for me - I prefer a minimal interface)

In addition going with HTC will give you access to the Android market and the apps therein

HTC Incredible S would be my choice although both HTCs are nice. Don't choose a blackberry over a HTC :P

I also like blackberries, but the Android market has lot of apps. Out of all of the phones, I love the iPhone 4 for Verizon. (:

I'm getting a new phone in November I'm deciding what to get.. Whatever you get let me know how it is =P

Htc for sure BBM only works for other blackberries and its a terrible. and for the htc get the evo it comes with a kick stand to watch movies it becomes its own internet provider so you never have to worry about wifi or 4g also it works on the droid network which comes with a multitude of apps for anything you can imagine blackberries are over rated and terrible phones

I too was in the same position ad you and I got a Desire HD so I'd recommend looking at it but if you think its too big get the Desire S because of its unibody design, great software and hardware you should also check out the HTC Sensation

Neither! Everyone who has a HTC phone that I know has ended up complaining about it/. And everyone who has a blackberry also ends up complaining about them. However, iPhones... no one has complained about one of them to me :)

But if you gotta have one of those then definately HTC ^^

Check out the new HTC Sensation. Its the latest and has the best hardware.
