Why do people call me racist because I don't support the President's every decision?

I would have voted for Colin Powell or Alan Keys if either of them were to win the GOP nod. I don't believe that dislike of political issues warrants being labeled racist.

I agree with you entirely. I, too, have been called racist for not supporting President Obama's policies. But it really has nothing to do with race. If Mr. Obama was a strong Republican, I would have voted for him, just as I would have voted for Alan Keys. Dislike of political issues does not warrant being called a racist, but some liberals or "progressives" will do anything to make conservatives look bad and defend Mr. Obama whether he is right or wrong.

As the left runs out of valid counter arguments, they fall back on just calling people racist. They've been doing that for decades. Just learn to ignore people who use the racism charge when it's levied against you or others.

The GOP has been decrying the "race card" for years now. Strangely, they alway make sure to bring it up first - "Now I'm not racist, but..."

The whole idea of the anti-race-card mindset that's been promoted by right-wing media actually has nothing to do with race at all. They don't care. They're just usiing it as a means to feed their voting base's persecution complex, which is what keeps them voting Republican year after year.

It's all they have. When confronted with facts in a debate, liberals run to mommy and claim racism whenever possible.
