    Hurt by the truth.

I don't want to live a life based on a lie.

...unlike the wives of most of the players in your fave team!

Yeah, I agree with you, hurt by the truth is better. Because once you've worked through the pain, you can move past it and progress with your relationship. And you know you're with someone you can trust, if they tell you the truth even when it hurts.

With a lie however, even a protective lie, the relationship you're building is based on a false foundation, and if the truth does come out one day it's like pulling away the base of all you've built, leaving the relationship more than likely to fall apart.

Hurt by the truth. Truth is always best.

Protected by a lie is no protection at all

    TRUTH OF COURSE.

Better to tell the truth so that reduces the mental tensions.

But a lie will always have a guilt feeling every step that you take.

hurt by the truth -- but i'd like to think a lie did not need to be a thorn in the side of a relationship --- good luck

Hurt by the truth, at least you know where you stand. And then if you dislike the situation you can leave instead of wasting your time with a cheat............All the best

of course we wouldnt want to get hurt, or be lied to, but if your other half can protect u from being hurt by telling u a lie, in some cases its better. ALL THAT REALLY MATTERS IS THAT U LOVE EACH OTHER. i hope that helps..

Truth is best, it means the relationship means something. We all make mistakes, we are only human. When we become lies we are devious and corrupt.
