How would I set up a video recorder onto my xbox 360?

I apologize if this is an easy and menial task. Im not very familiar with how it all works. How would I connect the computer to record gameplay on my xbox 360, particularly to upload onto youtube?

thanks in advance

    Easy.

    This is my personal setup

Xbox 360 connects to the HDTV with HDMI

Xbox 360 connects to 3 way splitter on input side by composite cables (red, yellow, white)

3 Way splitter connects to the HDTV from one output at AV1

3 way splitter connects to the HD PVR from other output to HD PVR input (red, yellow, white)

HD PVR connects to the HDTV at component input COMPONENT1, you can also use s-video or composite

Press record on the HD PVR

    Play your xbox 360

    Play in HDMI

After you play, switch to COMPONENT1 - rewind, stop, play, or fast forward on the HD PVR

If you like the video connect the HD PVR to your computer by a USB cable. Log into youtube and upload the video. Check this out for more details, it close to my set up
