First, he doesn't show his lineage. This bothers me on many levels. Not that one lineage is better then another...but, what is he trying to hide.

Two, he calls himself master. Anyone who calls himself "Master" should be avoided in my opinion. Even my Sigung says to call himself Sifu and he IS a grand master in the system.

Lastly, many Wing Chun guys think he is a joke.

I don't know him, nor do I care to ever meet him. But, that is something to take into consideration.

I know nothing about this guy. What i can tell you is that anyone selling martial arts training by video, ...etc. is selling you a dream. Real skills require real training under an instructor that is there to correct you as you learn. Any other training is simply going to teach you in a manner that will result in you having many serious problems. These problems are such that you will not know what is wrong or how to fix them. most you will not even know you have. No matter if Wong is good himself or not, no one taking his course is doing anything more than being "Taken". This is just a high tech version of the crap sold on the back of comic books in the 1960's.... for something like $1.50 in the 1960's you could purchase a booklet my mail that would supposedly teach you the secrets of Dim Mak ........ LOL.

If the guy is trying to teach JKD then he's a fraudster no matter how good he looks. You CAN'T teach JKD. It's a philosophy, not an art, it must be discovered and experienced by the individual.

I can't say. He claims to teach wing chun and jeet kune do, but he has no verifiable lineage as far as I can tell. Some of his vids seem good. My view is that he is a kung fu expert who wants to cash in on jkd.

I think his videos are very good, he's very charismatic and appears to do a very good job at motivating his students. ____ Alvin has a good point.... though his videos are good, it should only be supplemental to your own sifu's instruction.
