Joseph, he's the only man in the bible I know of where nothing bad is recorded about him. God told him to do it, he didn't whinge, complain or hesitate, he didn't make a song and dance about it but in humility and relative obscurity he just got on with the job of dutifully being a good person, a good Jew, a good father, with no concerns about how other people saw him, or about how he would be remembered or even if he would be remembered. No wonder God trusted him to be the earthly father figure for his own Son.
