opening act at concert?
If you are going to a concert and have never heard of the band who is opening do you listen to them beforehand to see if they are any good, or do you hear them for the first time at the concert?

Me personally, I would listen to them beforehand, so you can get familiar with their music plus they may play a song that you liked in their live set!

I'll ask around to see if anyone has heard of them and listen to something if it's available. But I won't search. It isn't necessary for me to be familiar with a band to enjoy them live. I've seen plenty of live acts cold and became a fan from that first exposure.
