Why will Y&R not be shown nationally for the next two weeks?
The Y&R Spoilers said that the show would not be televised nationally for the next two weeks. They gave no further explanation.

Havent heard anything. I think you maybe misunderstood what you heard though. Sometimes shows will shut down down production for a few weeks at a time, this is to give the cast, producers and writers a vacation, the show will still be on air because they tape 4-6 weeks ahead. What is airing now was taped back in mid april, and what is being taped now will air in mid July.

I think James is probably right, maybe the show is on summer hiatus.. the actors might have a vacation but they will tape far in advance and make sure it's on the air every day.
Did you read it somewhere? Can you post a link? Or did it say that in a promo on tv?
