who is your favorite international cricketer and why ?

My favorite Rahul Dravid..... people always say sachin.. but he is the wall.....

Even though I am Indian and love my Tendulkars and Sehwags, the cricketer i love and respect the most is Dan Vettori. For the last several years, he has led the NZ team in all formats of the game and has provided yeomen service with the bat, ball and as a captain. He has carried that team on this back and i very much admire him for that. He is an excellent cricketer and seems to be a very good human being.

Simply Sachin Tendulkar

I am a big fan of Sachin Tendulkar. He is perhaps the most complete batsman and the most worshipped cricketer in the world, Tendulkar holds just about every batting record worth owning in the game, including those for most runs and hundreds in Tests and ODIs, and most international runs.

Incredibly, he retains a divine enthusiasm for the game, and he seems to be untouched by age: at 36 years and 306 days he broke a 40-year-old barrier by scoring the first double-century in one-day cricket. It now seems inevitable that he will become the first cricketer to score 100 international hundreds, which like Bradman's batting average, could be a mark that lasts for ever.

Sachin Tendulkar because in addition to being the best cricketer to have ever played the game, he is also considered to be the most well behaved cricketer. He is the perfect rolemodel for any upcoming cricketer/sportsperson.

If we talk about only cricket than Sachin is known for his balance, patience, technique, right position of head and perfect selection of shots. He holds most of he batting records. He is playing cricket with same caliber, passion, consistency and sportsmanship as in his early career. Still he is best on ground after 21 year's busy and pressures cricket. According to Andy Flower,"There are two kinds of batsmen in the world, one SACHIN and two all the others."

Now if we talk about his personality than he is one of the most humble, soft spoken, kind players who always plays cricket with sportsmanship. Half of Indian population watches cricket because of Sachin. He is most experienced cricketer ever and still down to earth. Thats why he is my favorite and will be my favorite forever.
