Good weight loss exercises to do at home without equipment?
Hi,
I am working hard at losing weight but I can't afford to go to gym or buy equipment.
At the moment, I use my friends treadmill - but I can't go over there all of the time because I would be using her.
I live in a village, so it is nice to go for walks but has anybody got any good suggestions that worked for them?
I specifically want to lose weight around my stomach and thighs.
Also, I have been to Slimming World - didn't work for me, been on weight loss pills but they just gave me bad reactions - so if you have any non drastic diets - please give me those too!! :-)
Thanks! :-)

Thanks! I have all day now because I am on study leave, so exercise in the morning and revision in the afternoon works perfectly. I haven't got the option yet of chosing best answer, but if nobody gives me an even better one (which I doubt) I will certainly give it to you!
Thank you very much :-)

Do you have all day? Well try this. When you wake up, do a little light stretching like bending down to touch your toes, reach up for the sky, go side to side kind of stretching.
Eat a bowl of whole grain cereal or oatmeal followed by a banana.
Go for a 30 min walk (increase that time as time goes on)
come home, do three sets of 12 squats (rest inbetween) don't rush them, two count squats.
Then do three sets of 12 lunges on each leg (rest inbetween sets) again, don't rush it.
Get on the floor and do 12 push ups (on the knees if need be) (stretch arms)
On all fours, do 12 hamstring lifts on each side (works the butt and lower back)
Then do 10 push ups (stretch arms)
on all fours, do 10 hamstring lifts
Then last time..do 8 push ups (stretch
last time on all fours, do 8 hamstring lifts
For your abs, I would suggest the bicycle move...works the entire core area. Do three sets of 10
Reserve ab lift is good too.
Do another final light stretching of the legs and arms.
Take a shower, and you're done!
For the remainder of the day, do anything active like cleaning or gardening.
Lunchtime - have a turkey sandwich with spinach leaves and lite mayo. With a side of fruit and yogurt.
snack - suger free popcycle or jello or baby carrots
dinner - grilled chicken, green beans and rice (yummy)

Without a doubt, I say Zumba! It'so fun and burns lots of calories. They have it on the Wii and Playstation. it's also on DVD now, but I think it's only available via infomercial. You can check out some Zumba routines on YouTube.

When getting your hands on your kids from school, get out of the car and greet them which has a hug instead of waiting in the car curbside.
