Urgent anwsers needed. How do i get a thick syrupy stain out of a cream carpet.?
son had a party while we were on holiday,have had carpet cleaners in 2 times now and they could not get it out.Son has no idea what was spilled on it. Please help this carpet cost a fortune

Well, since this carpet cost a fortune, I would hire a professional carpet cleaner. They can perform miracles.
If you'd rather try fixing the problem yourself first, you can usually remove most carpet stains with shaving cream. Any brand works as long as it's the typical white foamy shaving cream.
Dampen the stain with water. Scrub in some Shaving Cream. Then clean with damp cloths until the stain is gone. After cleaning, press dry cloths on the area to dry the carpet.
Shaving cream is nothing but whipped soap that rinses easily. The last thing you want to use on carpet is a sudsy soap...you'd never get the suds out. Shaving cream removes most stains like magic.

Try some oxi-clean on it. This is available at almost any store and definitely worked on stains that wouldn't come out with anything else for us.
