How are beignets suppose to taste?
I made beignets for the first time this morning, and they taste like sopapilla's with like a beer-bread after taste? I might've used too much yeast but i'm not sure. How are they suppose to taste really?

I would describe them as a cross between a doughnut and a sopapilla taste wise. There shouldn't be the beer-bread aftertaste.
