Potty Training Puppy Apartment Reviews?

I am considering purchasing a PTPA also known as the Potty Training Puppy Apartment for my new Pomeranian. I work part time and go to school part time and am not able to let my puppy out as much as he needs to because he potties every 2 hours or so. I have heard very good things about this training apartment and was curious if any of you have actually used this with your dog?

Please only reply if you actually used the PTPA, as I am not interested in people’s opinions only your actual experience with the PTPA.

Update:

AGAIN only share if you have experiences with the PTPA as I DO NOT care for opinions from those that have not used the product. Thank you!

I've recently purchased a PTPA for my dachshund puppy. (I purchased a champion sired purebreed from MN on 5/18/2011). Supposedly they are the most stubborn breed of dog to train (potty train or training in general), however, within a few days my puppy, Nathan, knew what to do. I live in Brooklyn, NY but work on Wall street & do not have the time to crate train the pup. In addition, new pups are susceptible to diseases such as rabies or Canine parvovirus (CPV) before they are fully vaccinated (which will take months) & it is recommended that they stay indoors. I'd rather kill two birds with one stone & also potty train the dog while he completes his booster shot regimen. The puppy apartment comes with an instructional DVD that explains HOW to use the PTPA effectively & properly. I purchased the PTPA based on the youtube video alone, but was surprised to learn that there were actually levels of training involved. Trust me, dogs are intelligent & will know what to do when you finally take them outside. Simply feed them, then immediately take them outside until they "go". Then reward them with a treat & praise. That's all. Anyone saying something negative about this product is just jealous they didn't think of it first. I almost kicked myself on the missed opportunity. Do the next best thing & try it for yourself.

    Puppy Apartment

I discovered the PTPA during a YouTube search. After talking to one of

their representatives, I decided to purchase one for my 10 week old poodle

puppy Puddles. Although I started crate training him when he got home at 8

weeks, I found that my gut told me that the PTPA was a better way to go and

I was right. I live in a large studio apartment in New York City and I was

able to place the PTPA between my living room/bedroom and the kitchen, so

that the bed area is in the living room/bedroom area. Puddles immediately

went to the PTPA and was very comfortable in it. After only a few weeks, he

went to stage 2 (with a separate bed in a larger pen) and is now in stage 3

has the run of the apartment when I am home and uses his PTPA consistently.

I have my Puddles since March 26th and he is now completely potty trained.

I have to take no credit for this as it was all due to the PTPA. How is

works, I don't know, but I can only say that it does work. He had his final

vaccinations last week and I started walking him outside. He now

understands that he can also potty during his walks. Don't put you and

your puppy through the now old-fashioned, hit and miss, confining crate

training process. Purchase the PTPA and you'll have a stress free home for

both you, your family and your puppy..

We have had ours for 3 years now, for a min pin, and while it does work, we have the unique problem that he likes to stand with only his front legs in the crate and pee, so we had to get a plastic mat to put in front of the entrance to keep from ruining the floor/carpet. It's worked pretty well, and we plan on getting a second crate for our new pomeranian pup were getting today.

Also, we stopped with disposable pads, and got cloth diaper flats that I wash with babies cloth diaper laundry, and it works great. Wipe out under it each time to help with smells.

I own one and absolutely love it!!

On my way home I saw an adoption going on at our local pet store and luckily I ended up finding a young yorkie mix there. My boyfriend and I were considering getting a dog since my cat doesn’t like to cuddle much or likes to play with us often. I did some research on potty training my new puppy and came across the PTPA. I spoke to their representatives and they were happy to answer all of my questions, so I decided to order it and give it a try. It arrived on time and the quality of the product was great! It also came with an instructional video that walked you through every step of training your puppy! Their representatives were also very kind with helping me with any additional questions I had through the process. Within a couple of weeks Tulip, my yorkie-mix puppy, was potty trained. We now have the PTPA in the laundry room right next to our cat’s litter box for whenever she wants to go. She DOES NOT potty anywhere else in our home other than in her PTPA. She also has a separate den/bed outside of her PTPA where she likes to sleep. Tulip also goes potty when we are on walks and whenever we visit the dog park. She is completely happy and healthy and we couldn’t be happier with our purchase. I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone! Good luck!

I have a puppy apartment and it has work wonders. Who ever says its a scam does not know what they are talking about. I tried the regular crate training and it did not work as fast as it did with the apartment. I suggest not saying anything negative unless you have tried the product yourself. It only took a day for my puppy to get potty trained with the apartment but i guess its up to the puppy as well on how fast they learn.

Just finished housetraining my two dogs with the Puppy Apartment and it was the easiest housetraining experience I have ever had!

I've owned dogs my entire life and have tried just about every housetraining method out there.

Tried crate training in the past and in my opinion it was simply a cruel thing to do to my dog. It’s like being in jail with no bathroom. My vet also told me that it can be very bad for a dog to have to hold it too long and I saw a show on Animal Planet that said the same thing last week.

Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend the Puppy Apartment. Good luck with your Pom!
