When did Rand Paul stop being a Libertarian?

Libertarian Rand Paul said on Sean Hannity’s radio show that: "If someone is attending speeches from someone who is promoting the violent overthrow of our government, that’s really an offense that we should be going after, they should be deported or put in prison."

Perhaps as a Libertarian, Mr. Paul would be familiar with the Declaration of Independence:

That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.

And the first Amendment:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Is Ron Paul’s son really drifting from the Libertarian values, his father clings to?

    rand has said he and his father don't see eye to eye on everything

    When he said that he has different political views from his father.

    Rand Paul is right that anybody that exercises their rights should be arrested and put in prison. I hope Republicans and Democrats hurry up and destroy the whole U.S. Constitution.
