Using Acer Webcam To Upload Videos?

I purchased a Acer 5552 Triple Core laptop from tv and am very pleased. I tried using Crystal Webcam to upload a 5 minute video and youtubee says it would take 8 hours to do it. Do I need additional software when using this webcam. It came installed by the way. I am also using windows 7 if that matters. Can't I make the videos upload faster some how? Appreciate any help.

    YouTube can be very slow. You can try mailVU.com. I've found it to be very fast and easy to record and send videos to anyone.
