RPM's (anyone that is very knowledgable about cars would be of much help please!)?
My rpms seem to be going up and down and i feel that my car is struggling. Usually, when im stopped at a light and then i when i do go, and press on the gas, it goes up, then goes down and struggles and i can feel the car move slightly back and forth...anyone know what it could possibly be??

Could be a simple tune up, or major transmission problem( but you would know if the trans is not shifting right, when the rpm's fluctuate it would shift irradically. It could be bad gas or fuel pump or fuel filter, you need to get a free evaluation somewhere to progress with diagnosing it.

What type of car is it? My girlfriends Dodge Caliber did that and then eventually turned out to be her fuel pump.

Year/make/model of vehicle and engine and trans under the hood would also help.
