My puppy fell! What do I do?!?

I was holding my puppy in my lap as I sat at the kitchen table because I was trying to get a better look at something in her eye. When I went to get the stuff from her eye she wriggled out of my hand really fast and fell to the floor. She immediately began yelping but after a minute I was able to console her. She's only 8 weeks old but when I put her down shes walking and acting fine and I gave her some treats to make sure she will eat. I am just scared she has a concussion or something. Her vet visit is not until tomorrow morning...What do I do?!

Update:

I have felt her all over...inspected her paws and rubbed her head and she did not make any fuss. I would have called the vet but they are not open on thursdays so I must wait until her appointment tmr

Call your vet and tell them what happened. They'll make a decision about whether or not they want to see her immediately.

This is why you don't put a small dog on your lap when you're trying to do something like this. You sit on the floor with them.

It's a shocking number of puppies that get hurt because people drop them.

for somebody that's a TC interior the canines section - you would be able to think of you had greater trouble-free experience. Why do you have a 7 week previous pup? The greater troubling element is that judging via your timeline, you had this pup at what, 6 weeks? great. i assume once you purchase a desinger MUTT (cockapoo) those issues take place. call the vet.

My puppy was the same age when he fell down a gap through the paintpot and he yelped but was fine there is nothing to worry about don't worry your pup will be fine x

I think that you should keep her quiet and to make sure that nothing is broken by running your hands carefully down her and if she yelps then you know something is wrong with her. Good Luck at finding out what is wrong with her.

She'll be OK. Next time examine the puppy on the floor.

If you are so concerned, why don't you, instead of coming to YA's, pick up the phone and call your vet, and let them know what happened?

If she does have a concussion, keep her awake. Don't make her run around too much, but don't let her rest too much.
