If evolution is nonsense, then how do you explain this?

It's called mutation.

This justifies macro evolution, but doesn't justify the theory of evolution. Just seeing that macro evolution is fact, and is still happening should be proof enough to those who don't accept the theory, but unfortunately it does not mesh with religion.

@No Chance Without Jesus You are a fine example of ignorance. A species adapting is the process of macro-evolution, over time they will evolve into new species.

@pentex well micro and macro evolution are demonstrable facts, they just don't believe the theory of evolution.

When it "evolves" into something that's not bacteria, then put it in the news and I'll be convinced of macro evolution. Otherwise, the statement that things must remain within their type is still true.

Your never going to justify evolution to people that believe in creation. If they can't understand something so simple as when you plant a seed it evolves into a flower, then just let them live their fantasy and smile at the fact that you have common sense.

Strangely enough, there's people who believe in micro-evolution but not macro. How does that work? I have no clue, but i'm sure they'll try to throw some incoherent pseudo-scientific explanation.

I predict a good number of the old creationist made distinction of micro macro evolution, as if they were something different.

Somehow, magically, "microevolution" never leads to "macroevolution", which is the most illogical thing considering given enough little changes, over time it appears like a big change.
