How do I pack my makeup to make sure it doesnt break while traveling?

Pack the stuff in individual zip locks and then wrap in bubble wrap.

I would first suggest separating your clothes from your makeup, because you just don't want to even risk getting certain clothes "nailpolished." Put all of your cosmetics in Ziploc bags. That way, if something does spill or break open, it's still contained.

Next, take something like cotton balls and pack them around each individual item so they cannot bounce against another hard object and break. I suggest cotton balls because they are cushy and can also be used to do your makeup, so they are multipurpose and you're not packing extra things you don't need.

Make sure makeup with loose lids or with stuff that flies open is tied down with a rubber band or pressed tightly in the cotton balls. Screw all your lids tightly, and you should have no problem with broken makeup!

I buy snack size Ziploc style baggies in which I keep individual small items that might break or leak in my toilet kit when I travel.

For the pressed powder, I would wrap it in a little bubble wrap and add tape to hold it closed, or else put it into its own small padded pouch or bag, before packing it the with rest of your stuff.

Stuff it inside some old socks and then put the socks in a plastic bag.

Put all your makeup in a makeup bag, and ziplock bags.
