How to stop my friends from asking me who I like?
Well, great, another petty teenage girl asking for dating advice, me all over.
Feeling stupid, but chyea, I'll get on with it, because there's not really anyone else I can ask. So, Y!A, I'm depending on you. I've googled around, but I can't find anything helpful, so I hope someone has an answer for me.
Well, I've never really had a guy who I've liked before and I don't really like him that much and it's not like I have time to date at the moment, so I don't intend to tell him anytime soon.
I don't want to deal with all the catty, highschool drama that comes with telling them because I'm sure with the girl:guy ratio at my school, I'm bound not to be the only one who likes him. Too much hassle, because I happen to know my best-friend likes him (a situation straight out of a sit-com, right xD) and she can have him for all I care, but that's not the real problem here.
They keep asking me this question over and over again.
I'm not going to tell them anytime soon who he is, I'm as stubborn as a mule, but they started taking my stuff hostage in exchange for an answer. I reckon it's my own business and I never really understood why it's so interesting. They're pushy, but peer-pressure isn't going to work.
Anyways, I need some advice on how to get them to stop asking me who it is I like. Also, I was wondering as a sub-note if anyone could predict some ways they might try and trick me into telling them. I want to be prepared.
All and all, this situation is too much hassle xD
It wasn't as though I was waltzing around announcing "I like someone but I won't tell you who" XD or writing about in on my facebook, but they started spreading rumors, which I felt I had to set straight. That's right, my friends are the greatest. XD No truly they are, don't judge them on this incident alone.
This is some very helpful stuff, I shall take it all into consideration!! Thanks for the help.

The next time they ask you, look them straight in the eye (one of them, if there are lots or look at them all in one big sweeping glance) and tell them in a very firm, slightly scornful pronouncing-every-syllable-way that you fancy no one. (practise in front of the mirror to get it perfect)
They might try and trick you by... going through a list of names of boys in your year/class and asking you if you fancy any of them. They will be looking for any small blush, fidget, tensing, looking down, anything. The girls at school try this on boys to see who they fancy so they might well try it.
If you want more ways, just ask :D

When she ask, just tell her you were so busy you guys didn't really get to spend as much time together. Brush it off like the time you spent together was no big deal. She will get tired of asking because the answers are so boring.

Wth? Just tell them that you don't like anyone or the guy you like isint from your school. Why did you tell them that you like someone in the first place? Ofcourse they will want to know who he is.

tell them its someone they don't know outside of school
tell them you're over it now anyway and there'd be no point
tell them you don't like anyone (if they'd believe you at this point)
and dont get touchy or show reaction of the boy you like is brought up in conversation.
