dental work in costa rica? i'm in need of serious dental work such as implants and more...?

Implants require a lot of follow-up care so unless you're planning on staying in Costa Rica for at least six months I'd nix that idea.

I don't know the state of medical care in CR but implants require a pretty sophisticated, sterile environment for success. The dentist needs to be trained and experienced. Usually an Oral Surgeon or Perodontist, not a general dentist.

If you go ahead research it carefully.

I just recently was interviewing different Orthodontists for some treatment I am considering, and I found the dentists in CIMA hospital or nearby to be the most professional. I have been impressed with the professionalism of all dentistry here, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend you interview a few places. I don't think you will be disappointed. You just need to be aware that it can be hard to find a physician back in your home country who is willing to take you on when you get back. Make sure you have someone in place before you start treatment here in Costa Rica.

Expenses are definitely more reasonable here, I would say around half what you pay at home. But I have not found any reduction in service/quality. Good luck and I hope that helps! I have not actually had orthodontic treatement yet, but all preliminary interviews have been very reassuring.

i've got merely had 6 implants in budapest in october at a value of £600 each and each i bypass decrease back in february for implant liberation which expenses yet another £600 an implant, which includes commencing the gum to show the 10mm metallic pins and restoration the bridge. i think the comparable artwork could of value me over £20,000 in uk. as much as properly known i'm very inspired with the common of artwork and repair.
