My right arm is bigger than my left arm due to tennis?

Ive been playing tennis for like only 6-8 months and i barely use my left arm at all, and due to that my right arm feels like its twice as strong as my left arm. How do I even them both out? What muscles does tennis work?

yeah mines the same thing its so funny cuz stuff feels different weights in different hands, u just gotta do some training with ur other arm and lifting weights and strengthen it up a bit

im a girl so its not really a big deal cuz my muscles arent as big as a guys but you can tell mainly onthe forearm. i would just leave it look at rafa lol the difference of his arms is crazy

alsoat the top contributed guy im pretty sure it is tennis considering the only ppl who i know who have this are tennis players and rafa nadal is like the perfect example of this

but i do agree that it is partly resistance cuz alot of the strength/power ur hitting with does come the core but still your arms ARE working too and if u play enough then u must b able to notice a difference

like rafas right handed in everything else and a lefty in tennis, so plz explain why his left arm is so much bigger

I do not think it's only tennis... Any player with a sound technique barely use his arms to hit in a game. There's the serve and overhead which requires some forearm movement prior impact and the one handed backhand (top spin and slice) that needs the triceps to be accomplished.

So, it cannot be that. Typically, one handed backhand players will have slightly bigger forearm on their hitting side, mostly due to the impact of hitting tennis ball - it's actually their bones which are a bit bigger. However, if you hit two handed backhands, we're not speaking about the same difference. A good tennis player is powerful with his core muscles; to hit hard, you should be able to swing your arms like you'd swing wet rags. If you can do that, it means you can hit hard provided you use the right movement.

haha I know people who have the same problem cause of tennis. Just light weights on both arms to even the amount of muscle in each arm.

heavy barbell curls but at your age I'd start light and do 4 sets of 10 when your older and stronger, you could do heavier for now do push ups pll ups dips

Play tennis WITH YOUR OTHER ARM AS WELL, YOU ID IOT!!!!!!!!!!

uh...yeah sure, it's not the TENNIS that got your arm bigger....no, it's gotta be something else. This is a mystery, Batman!!

Its inevitable. Resistance training is needed.

Not only will it be stronger, quicker, more balanced, and more nimble with objects in your hand, it will eventually get longer too.

My right arm is 1.75 in. longer than my left. I pitched baseballs for years too.

Start masturbating with your left... they'll even out in no time...
