Absolutely, but in Europe it is still looked down upon after the events of World War 2 and how nationalism was associated with Germany and Italy. In the rest of the world, from Chechnya in Russia, to the Arab world to Sub-Saharan Africa, there are nationalist movements demanding the independence of a certain group. In already-existing countries, nationalism plays a huge role across the globe to varying degrees. The USA I would say is more patriotic that nationalistic, although nationalism manifests itself amongst certain people without a doubt.
