How to tweet to the people i am following?

Use @

In your Tweet, include the at symbol directly before the targeted user's name (e.g., @username). This message will be added to your timeline. If the targeted user is following you, then your Tweet with appear in his or her timeline as well. If he or she isn't following you, then it only will be added to the private replies list each user can access from the homepage on the right-hand menu.
