Which laptop is best for Nana?
My Nana is in her 60's and is getting rid of her desktop and wants a laptop. I'm not sure what kind of laptop to get her. She said that something the size of mine (Toshiba L505) would be good, but she bought this for me a year ago, and I don't think it is sold anymore. I like Toshiba's, personally, and I know how to work them. The only things she is going to use it for is email, banking, and playing spider solitaire. Any recommendations?
Haha I didn't realize that Nana was an English thing. I'm from Boston, the majority of the people I know call their grandmothers Nana and grandfathers Papa. I'm actually Portuguese, on my fathers side I call my grandparents Avo and Vovo

I have had a Sony and a Toshiba and I work with about 500 Dell Latitudes. She does not need anything that has a good video card, several processors or huge amounts of RAM.

Get her a Lenovo brand laptop. They're really good for eyes that aren't the greatest, and they're rather simple. They don't have much clutter per say, so less to go wrong when she's on it. :)

I always say this, get Asus, they make the best laptops and the hardware should last awhile
Source(s): I build computers and use some of Asus' other stuff in my comp, works like a dream.
