B&A: How would your character react in these situations?

1) Kill it and eat it.

5) She would escape. It wouldn't be hard to get out of prison for petty thieves

I'm using secondary characters today, so, please meet Cilia!

1.) Your character goes camping, leaves the campsite for a short while and there's a man-eating bear poking around the picnic basket.

~She has most likely had this happen before. She'd hide in a tree until the bear left, knowing that the bear can't climb as hish as she can.

2.) Your character is lost at sea in a small canoe.

~She's an excellent navigator, like the rest of her people. She'd fashion a fishing rod to try to stay alive while she rowed for shore. Or, if there was no hope, she'd just lay back in the canoe and stare at the sky until she died of dehydration.

3.) Your character is sitting by the hospital bed of their lover that just got into a car accident.

~No cars in her world, but if Liana got hurt, Cilia would be right there, holding her hand. Until her duty call came up, and she'd have to leave for awhile. But she'd spend every free minute at her lover's side until she got better. (Yes, they're both women.)

4.) Your character gets the ability to fly.

~How impractical! She'd much rather get the ability to breathe underwater, since fishing is her usual choice of duty! But if she could fly, perhaps she would take up bow hunting and try to kill herself that mean bear from question one.

5.) Your character is falsely accused of stealing something and behind bars.

~She wouldn't be able to do much. She'd ask Liana for a pardon, of course, but of course, Liana couldn't grant it because she would be barred from the case, given the personal relationship with the accused.

6.) Your character is in a restaurant where everyone there speaks a different language, and he/she is trying to order food.

~She's pretty practical. She'd just grab a menu and point at what she wanted.

7.) Your character is kissed by a very pretty/handsome boy/girl, but they don't know this person.

~Everybody in Eden knows everybody else's face, so that's unlikely. But if somehow it did happen, her reaction would probably be violent. She might cut the person or punch them.

Use their wand and use it to get the bear to move away from the campsite and never return (unharmed)

Oh God is my character going to have to do this all the time?

Get out their wand and get thyself to safety (leaving the canoe unharmed)

Not again, actually no.

She doesn't have a lover because she is a loner.

She already can :L

Gets dumbledore from the grave (and from some one else's book, but ignore that) and get him to pay the fine.

6.) Your character is in a restaurant where everyone there speaks a different language, and he/she is trying to order food.

Use her wand and translate English to whatever language they speak.

7.) Your character is kissed by a very pretty/handsome boy/girl, but they don't know this person.

Get the hell out of there. (After using her wand to paralyse them)

I'll go with Captain Edward Thomas on this one.

Surrender nothing and fight the bear off with a stick. (Don't think they had campsites in the late 1700's!)

(No cars so let's say thrown off a horse and into the path of a carriage) *stunned silence*

Ciao, *a jumble of Italian follows and the wrong type of food ends up on the table.*

Well, I AM possessed of a good fortune... (If you've read any Jane Austen, you should know what I'm getting at. :p)

1) Why on earth is she going camping in the first place? Unless her boy-toy dragged her there, there is no way she'd show up. And if it were to be the case, she'd scream one of those amazing girl screams and make him go and attack it. It doens't matter anyways. Food hasn't ever helped her before. Just extra calories.

2) She would relax in the sun--catching as many rays as should could--because her thought pattern would be that the current had to take her somewhere sometime. Might as well be tan when you get there.

3) She'd be too shocked to leave his side, and even if she wasn't shocked, she wouldn't leave. She would sit beside, staring out his window with his hand held limply in hers until he either woke up or until the line went blank. If it did, she'd calmly leave and never turn back, dying silently on the inside. Because even though she's usually stuck-up and selfish, her whole world is in her boy.

4) She flips out. How much more fun would Friday-nights-out be?!?

5) Complain constantly how orange is NOT her color, and why would she steal that item anyways? She more than likely already has it in stock x20. It doesn't really matter, she'll get bailed out soon anyways.

6) "JUST GET ME SOME D*** LETTUS!" With a french (failed accent) She's not very good at handling situations or problem solving. Eventually, she'd just find what someone else was having and point.

7) "Oh, hello. I'm available, and you are?" Pen out, numbers exchanged, hair tossed, eyes batted, more than likely another kiss coming soon, don't tell boy-toy, he probably is doing the same thing right now anyways, nothing serious, just for fun.

Hello there~

This is...Lightfinger (I should give him a better name, right? He's a thief)

1.) Your character goes camping, leaves the campsite for a short while and there's a man-eating bear poking around the picnic basket.

Lightfinger is known for being able to either charm or steal the pants off anyone. If all else fails, he'll stab instead of steal.

This course of action will of course, be deployed on the bear. He will first clothe it in trousers and proceed to charm the trousers off the bear.

And if that does not work, he'll run, since his knife is too small to cause enough damage to an angry trouser-wearing bear.

2.) Your character is lost at sea in a small canoe.

He'll charm the fishes into being eaten. ...Haha...Well, if he can't do that, he'll starve if he doesn't reach land soon enough.

3.) Your character is sitting by the hospital bed of their lover that just got into a car accident.

Lightfinger hates and fears commitment with a passion. There's actually the chance that he'll never sit next to that hospital bed because he'll be fleeing to another country to escape the possibility of being yoked to an injured woman. But if he is....it's probably because this lover is rich and he's wheedling into her affections by appearing to be sweet and nice.

4.) Your character gets the ability to fly.

Oh dear...oooooh dear...a whole new dimension to his thievery...

I can see him chuckling evilly to himself as he flies. :)

5.) Your character is falsely accused of stealing something and behind bars.

If it was something that would be hard to steal, he'd take credit for it even if it wasn't him. If it was something simple to steal, he'd be irked by the fact that he was accused of having something that he didn't have, and would proceed to hunt down the actual thief after he was released, and would then steal everything valuable that thief owns when he found them.

6.) Your character is in a restaurant where everyone there speaks a different language, and he/she is trying to order food.

Order? Lightfinger doesn't order. Lightfinger charms, steals or stabs. :)

7.) Your character is kissed by a very pretty/handsome boy/girl, but they don't know this person.

Proceed to steal everything in the pockets of the the guy or girl. :D And then proceed to charm them further if they seem rich.

Upon spotting the bear at the campsite, Ingrid would run and return hours later. It doesn't matter if the bear ransacked the camp and stole all the food, she'd be happy to have escaped with her life.

2.) Your character is lost at sea in a small canoe.

It depends on the amount of time that has passed. If Ingrid has only been drifting around for a short period of time, she'd entertain herself with thoughts of a grand rescue. And when more time passes? She'd toss aside those thoughts and begin to take this situation seriously. And when it becomes obvious that rescue won't come? Suicide by drowning.

3.) Your character is sitting by the hospital bed of their lover that just got into a car accident.

Ingrid would wonder, "Lover? I don't have one. Did somebody set me up? Still, I hope [name of person in the hospital bed] will get well soon,"

4.) Your character gets the ability to fly.

Oh dear, that isn't a good thought. Ingrid would abuse her new power, flying to places that are easily within walking distance. Maybe test the limits of how high she can go and how far she can fly as well.

5.) Your character is falsely accused of stealing something and behind bars.

Work herself into a fury. Ingrid becomes terribly defensive when wrongly accused (and punished, in this case) and landing behind bars to her is worse than any punishment a parent would give. Assuming Ingrid does not succeed with landing herself out of trouble, she'd give up and vow to hunt down the real culprit once her time in prison is up.

6.) Your character is in a restaurant where everyone there speaks a different language, and he/she is trying to order food.

Ingrid would leaf through her menu and look for pictures of food that look potentially appetizing, then point to the pictures when a waiter is here to take her order.

7.) Your character is kissed by a very pretty/handsome boy/girl, but they don't know this person.

She would put her fingers to her lips in disbelief, wondering if what happened...well...really did happen.

1. Well, I don't think this scenario would ever happen, but if it did he'd probably just lure the bear away and try to get his stuff- is he deemed it unsafe, he'd let the bear have the tent as well and wander back to civilization.

2. Hmm... It's tricky to know exactly how he'd react to this one, considering that he is hydrophobic and would never be found anywhere near an ocean (or even a pond). I believe he would have a mental breakdown, and unless someone came across him he'd end up dying.

3. He wouldn't know what a 'car' was, but more importantly he'd set up camp next to her bed, never leaving. He would also annoy the daylights out of any doctors or nurses in the area.

4. I think he'd be befuddled at such a prospect at first, and wouldn't use it much, but he would definately mess around with it for the first few days.

5. He wouldn't wait around for someone to prove his innocence - the law doesn't really get along with him where he lives, and he'd find a way out long before they came down to question him. (actually chances are he really DID steal something)

6. His gestures would grow more and more impatiant and outwardly dramatic, and eventually he would either convey his message or grudgingly give up and order something easier.

7. Automatic response - shove them away. Doubly so if he realized he didn't know them.

This is a little hard since I have so many different characters, but my favorite character('s really I can reuse the personality) would probably react like so.

1.) If she has a gun, shoot it. Otherwise climb a tree and wait for it to leave or try to scare it away(and fail and almost get killed).

2.) Choose a direction and alternate between rowing and sleeping. You don't feel hungry or thirsty when your asleep.

3.) Cry. Do anything she can to help. If it was the other persons fault fight them legally.

4.) Um. I don't really know. She would fly places? Nothing special really. Unless it was one of my spy characters, then they would use it to help them be a spy.

5.) Fight. Not physically of course, but she would get a lawyer and fight since I actually can't see any other options anyway. If she could get out of jail she would investigate to try and figure out who really did it. Or escape. They might escape.

6.) This is another hard one since different characters might speak languages. If my character doesn't speak any of the languages she would either just get fed up and leave or call someone to look up just what she needs to know in another language.

7.) If a hot guy randomly came up and kissed my character she would hit him or something similar. Depending on the character she might go out with him right afterward though.

This should be about right. Although I'm curious, why do you want to know?
