Xbox 360 price drop after e3?

I have heard rumors about after the e3 expo (June 7-9) that there will be a price drop on xbox 360. So far, I have found no evidence of this happening, but am truly hoping for it to happen. I am looking to buy the 250gig without the kinect. Anybody know anything about a price drop anytime soon? Thanks for the help.

    If there will be a price drop shortly after E3, it'll be announced at E3.

    Personally I don't think we'll see a drop. Thanks to the Kinect, the 360 is selling pretty well and continues to stay out in front of the PS3. For this reason, there is no reason for Microsoft to drop their price - which would cut into their profits.

    The next opportunity for a price drop would be this fall, but I think what Microsoft will do instead is bundle in a game or two, and call it good. This is an easy way for Microsoft to do a "price drop" without having to actually change any prices.

    I could see it happening if Microsoft was announcing their next console, but they're not doing that, so I doubt it.
